Director of Group Sales – Luxury Hotel
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

The Company:

Our client is an esteemed 5-star hotel located in Washington, DC, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing luxurious accommodations.

They are looking for a strategic, proactive Director of Group Sales who will play a key role in optimising the hotel’s sales and profit.

Main Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in driving revenue and establishing strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competition offerings, using market research and data analysis to identify opportunities for growth to help stay ahead of competition and drive sales
• Present sales reports and make recommendations based on the findings.
  
  Collaborate with hotel executives to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to maximise revenue potential
• Lead and manage the Sales team, ensuring all team members are fully supported and equipped to do their jobs successfully
• Represent the brand and culture in the best possible light within and outside of the organisation
• Manage budgets and allocate resources amongst different projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and return-on-investment

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3 years experience in Sales Management, preferably working with a luxury hotel/resort
• A natural, dynamic leader with superb presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience with MS Office and software systems
• Relevant degree is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
