Product Owner - R&D

Our client is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to assume a pivotal role in driving the vision and direction of their Agile development team and stakeholders throughout various projects.

As the Product Owner, you will spearhead the creation of requirements, as well as plan and prioritise the product feature backlog and development for the dedicated development team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the value contribution of multiple backlogs and products in production, offering insightful reports within a designated domain or specific team.


• Collaborate closely with (Senior) Project Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure seamless coordination.


• Arrange backlog prioritisation in alignment with business value, ROI / NPV, revenue contribution, and other pivotal commercial and financial KPIs, while effectively planning for the team's success.


• Develop comprehensive product and delivery documentation, playing a key role in translating business case themes and features.


• Actively share your extensive knowledge and experience within the Product Owners/Product Managers team.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a proven track record in data-driven product development.


• Exhibit proficiency in revenue/ cost planning, platform and user economics, translating them into Epics and Stories, and further breaking them down into (financial) story points.


• Showcase expertise in customer journey and micro-moment mapping.


• Display familiarity with R&D agile methodologies.


• Possess a background in Data analytics; experience in BI, reporting, and analytics is preferred.


• Hold prior experience in both R&D and IT - a prerequisite for this role.


• Offer specialised depth (expertise/knowledge/education) within a specific field or domain related to the Mobility Sector or Domains, which is highly advantageous.

• Hold a University Degree or possess equivalent practical experience.
