Geneva Operations Manager
Get Me To The Alps is an online travel agent for ski and snowboard holidays.
Founded in 2012 by a team of industry experts with 20 years experience in the sector.
In order to help facilitate our continued development we are looking to contract a new Geneva Airport Operations Manager to join the Get Me To The Alps team.
The relevant person must be fluent in French and English and be able to work from Geneva airport on Saturdays throughout the ski season (Dec-Apr), be able to work under pressure and display a willingness to go that extra mile.
Ski experience is obviously desirable, but not essential as we can provide excellent training and guidance on all aspects of the role.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing team who are based in the UK.
The role offers excellent pay with additional bonus based on performance.
Starting Salary: %9The equivalent of 250 euros per Saturday (can be paid in EUR / CHF), based on working 8 hours per Saturday
Responsibilities
Meeting customers in the arrivals area of Geneva airport, informing them of the coach departure time and organising each group to wait in specific areas of the airport so they can be easily organised to board the transfer.
Maintaining shared Google sheets/documents of coach lists and itineraries.
Liaising with UK office staff during the busy Saturday transfer day.
Speaking to coach drivers to arrange collection of passengers from the Geneva airport bus station.
Being a point of contact for customers of Get me to the Alps who are at Geneva airport throughout the day.
Dealing with various suppliers that Get me to the Alps use within Geneva airport.
Dealing with delayed passengers and providing a resolution with the full assistance of the UK office Key requirements It is essential that you are fluent in English and French.
It is also essential that you have good computer skills, including:
Fast and accurate typing skills; email contact with customers means that grammar and spelling need to be of a high standard.
Being efficient at multi-tasking on a computer; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets / Docs
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent telephone manner
Strong numeracy skills
Strong written capabilities Working hours Every Saturday will require working hours of 0900h to 1300h & 1600h to 2000h
There may be a need to work additional hours on each Saturday that will be paid as overtime.
