Maintenance Engineer - Northamptonshire

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Northamptonshire.

This is a 4 on, 4 off position working in the food manufacturing industry.

You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment and facility systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key duties include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance procedures and inspections on equipment


• Diagnosing faults and breakdowns and performing repairs as needed


• Carrying out installation and commissioning of new equipment


• Conducting tests and calibrations of electrical systems and instrumentation


• Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals


• Documenting maintenance and repair activities

The ideal candidate will have:

• City & Guilds or similar qualification in electrical engineering or related field


• Experience maintaining electrical systems and food processing equipment


• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable with a dedication to safety

£44,000 - £46,000 per annum
