An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Utilities Engineer to join a leading drinks company based in Bedford.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all site utilities including steam, compressed air, refrigeration, HVAC, water treatment etc.

This is a hands-on position, working Monday - Friday on a 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm rotating shift pattern.

Main duties:

• Ensure efficient running of all site utilities through preventative maintenance and timely repairs


• Fault find and troubleshoot utility system issues, restoring operation promptly


• Schedule and oversee contractors working on utilities maintenance and installations


• Monitor performance and consumption of utilities, identifying areas for improvement


• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or related discipline


• Experience maintaining industrial utility systems


• Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills


• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience


• Ability to work well under pressure


• Health & Safety awareness and dedication to safety
