FFamily Time Worker - Bolton

Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Time Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting 6 experienced Family Time Worker to join their safeguarding team based in Bolton. 

Pay Rates: £17.75 per hour

Duration: 18/09/2023 - 6 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hrs/week - Hybrid 

Family Time Worker role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with children and families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and those involved within court proceedings
• Achieve positive outcomes for Looked After Children (LAC) and their families
• Work alongside Safeguarding Social
• Plan and record interventions effectively, to support and contribute to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams
• Offer support and evidence-based intervention around child development
• Supporting with contact supervision
• Transport children and families as appropriate
• Complete home visits
• Contribute to risk assessments and protecting children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse
• Raise any concerns you may have immediately
• Work with families around behaviour management strategies and routines and boundaries
• Work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own home, where appropriate
• Support in referring families to support services available
• Communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies to ensure all needs are met

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Relevant level 3 qualification e.g.
  
  NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Youth and Community Studies
• Experience of working with children and families support services
• Experience of supporting families in using services within the community
• Ability to implement interventions and strategies to prevent family breakdown
• Ability to contribute to the protection of children and young people, by identifying and acting upon risk of danger, harm, and abuse
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
