General Manager – High-End Gastro Pub - £60,000 - London

Who will you be working for?

Are you an ambitious General Manager with a food background looking for an opportunity to help a venue grow to its full potential? I might have the perfect role for you!

I am looking for someone creative, independent and a strong team manager to help the client fulfil their vision.

This is a live out position.

Responsibilities –

• Always maintain a professional and welcoming approach when dealing with customers
• Assist in implementation of merchandise and layout to maximise sales, customer satisfaction and bar appearance and image
• Assist in implementation of bar advertising, promotional strategy and activities
• Assist in managing costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the bar
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., head office) and external agencies and authorities (e.g.
  
  suppliers, advertising, recruitment, training, fire services, police, local council and health and safety inspectors)
• Assist in managing and maintaining effectiveness of IT systems
• Responding to customer complaints and comments as appropriate
• Touring the bar regularly, ensuring walkways are kept clear for customer access, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner
• Complete all necessary administration as required
