The Role in a Nutshell

Establish working relationships with stakeholders and build rapport to become a key trusted advisor, providing finance business partnering to various areas of the business.


About this Role

The role holder will provide financial and commercial support to key stakeholders, driving optimal business decisions and delivering better financial and commercial performance in alignment with group business objectives.

They will lead the delivery of end-to-end financial planning and reporting processes, providing input and insight to inform business partnering activities, and enable effective business strategy development, decision making and performance management.

You'll have the following Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end financials across a transaction cycle/ function


• Deliver the implementation of the strategy by working with the team to provide insights and key reports


• Business partner with multiple sub-units to provide financial insights to inform strategic decision-making


• Improve understanding and impact of financial reporting on the performance of the business unit


• Ensure all business partnering activities are carried out in compliance with local legislative and regulatory requirements


• Identify and drive resolution of any data issues impacting productivity or compliance


• Continuously develop and share with the team, knowledge on emerging trends and changes in financial reporting principles and practices


• Consider risk, regulation and uncertainty in short-term decisions and ensure that risks are identified and managed by establishing clear accountabilities and supporting an appropriate risk culture and control environment


• Coach talent, and may manage others, to develop capabilities and ensure performance


• Implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes and to resolve data issues impacting productivity and compliance
