Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Role

My client is looking for a time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to move to a real ‘family feel’ company where the average length of service is 20 years! You will be tasked with doing all reactive and preventative maintenance onsite, inclusive of their steel processing machinery, overhead cranes, and some facilities work.

Main Responsibilities

• Proactively assist with electrical & mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment
• Maintain proper equipment operation and prevent accidents by proper maintenance and good design and operation.
• Ensure safe, clean, and professional plant environment is maintained.
• Provide customer with a positive experience by demonstrating excellent service.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

   

  Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  The Candidate

• Must be time served in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• 18th or 17th edition, desirable
• Must be able to work with PLCs
• Siemens S6/S7 knowledge, advantageous
• Worked on Overhead Cranes
• Worked on steel processing machinery: Plasma Profiling, Punching & Shearing, Cutting & Drilling, Shot Blasting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, strong work ethic.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and master tasks.
• Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good attitude.
