Youth Options is expanding, and we are looking for experienced team leaders with a passion for supporting children and young people, leading teams and delivering quality services to join our growing charity.
As part of our new strategy aimed at supporting more children and young people to achieve a better future, Youth Options is recruiting a number of new team leader positions to help us succeed.

Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering a high-quality youth work provision in the Eastleigh and Southampton areas.
The aim of our provision is to engage, develop and empower children and young people whom may be disengaged from education, at risk of exclusion from society, engaging in risky behaviours or at risk of poor mental health.
Your role as Team Leader will be to manage and inspire a team of youth workers to plan, deliver, evaluate and grow a high-quality youth work provision across the Eastleigh Borough area.
You and the team will be offering young people a safe positive space for fun and creativity as well as essential information, advice and guidance in order to equip them with the skills needed to open opportunities, improve social and emotional capabilities and enable them to make positive informed life decisions.
As well as planning and coordinating an outstanding delivery, you will also be responsible for line managing a team of youth support workers.
Ideally, you will have a proven ability to offer high-quality leadership, management and support to both teams and individuals.
Regular evening and occasional weekend working will be required.
Targeted action: one-to-one and group support focusing on achieving positive outcomes including engagement children and young people in nature-based, outdoor learning.
Progression opportunities: supporting young people to take personal responsibility for their future through gaining qualifications, volunteer placements and employability programmes.

Contract Type: Permanent Location: New Forest (Totton & The Waterside), Southampton & Eastleigh
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week- including 3 evenings per week
Reports to: Head of Learning & Progression
Starting Salary: £24,375-£25,350 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
, Plan, implement, and review programmes and activities to meet the needs of children, young people, and families
, To engage children, young people, and families in a journey of personal and social development in a variety of ways Lead and support a staff team to develop and implement a varied programme Lead and support the management of groups and ensure services are accessible for all children, young people, and families.
, Oversee the delivery of all programmes, including the provision, maintenance and preparation of materials, resources, and activity areas.
, Manage project budgets for your area of work, including authorising team expenditure.
Manage bookings, referrals, and invoicing via relevant project systems

Salary: £24,375.00-£25,350.00 per year
