Are you a talented Test Engineer with a passion for ensuring top-notch software quality? Look no further! My client is UK's leading software development company, and they're looking for an exceptional Manual Test Engineer with exposure to automation testing to join the team in Sheffield.

As a Test Engineer with exposure to automation testing, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products.

This means you will be creating and documenting and executing manual release test plans, perform regression testing around software changes.

You will also be creating and managing demonstration and test cloud environments and then execute automated QA release processes and procedures (static analysis, accessibility scanning, mutation testing, etc.) - then monitoring and escalating detected issues as appropriate within the team.

In addition, there will be an opportunity for the Test Engineer to help learn and maintain some of the automated test suites (using technologies such as Playwright.NET and Postman).

Developers on the team will support this activity - and so the role may be suitable for an individual who currently has limited experience of automated testing but wishes to develop their skills in this area.

Test Engineer applicants should be experienced in some or all the following (full training will be provided to fill any gaps in your skill set): Manual testing, Automation, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Storage (Blob + Queue), Cosmos DB, CDNs, C#, ASP.NET Core, including .NET Core Web APIs, Blazor, WPF, .Net MAUI.
