Laser Operator (Fabrications)

Location: Sandbach, Cheshire

Salary: £10.50 - £16.50 per hour + Bonus scheme + Signing bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

The Role:

They are looking for a Laser operator to join their team.

You will be pivotal in producing precision parts while working various shifts.

Responsibilities:



* Setting up and operating Trumpf/Bystronic machines


* Inspecting work using engineering drawings and documentation


* Managing machine control settings and making adjustments


* Interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances


* Collaborating within a team and working independently


* Delivering efficient and productive work


* Handling both one-off components and batch work


Requirements:



* At least 2 years experience as Laser operator (preferred)


* Previous experience operating laser machines


* Mechanical and/or automotive manufacturing background


* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment


* Time-served experience
