CAD technician

I am recruiting for a CAD Technician for one of our clients within the sheet metal fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities as a CAD Technician:

• Utilize CAD software, with a preference for Radan, SolidWorks, and Trumpf, to create detailed designs for sheet metal projects.


• Read and understand technical drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.


• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide essential support in laser cutting and punching operations.


• Assist in other office-related tasks to ensure smooth operations within the company.


• Embrace full training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in sheet metal CAD design.


• Show dedication and enthusiasm in all aspects of your work to contribute to the company's success.

Desirable qualities as a CAD technician:

• Essential experience and expertise in sheet metal background.


• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably with experience in Radan, SolidWorks, and Trumpf (highly desirable due to our transition to Trumpf machines).


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.


• Desirable experience in laser cutting and punching operations.


• Strong drive and enthusiasm to learn and grow within the role.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

In return, the CAD technician will receive:
