The Role

National Care Employer of the Year, ROC Group are looking for full-time and part-time Support Workers to join the team in a supported living service for care leavers aged 16 – 17.

As a Support Worker, you will provide additional supervision and support to help young people into independence and help them to acquire essential life skills i.e., understanding benefits, budgeting, cooking, and accessing education or training.

Dependent on experience & qualifications, £28,798 projected including sleeps per annum.

 

Shift information

Support Worker Shifts are on a 3-week rolling rota, including waking nights, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, and sleepovers.

This can be subject to change depending on the needs of the service.

As a support worker flexibility is required due to the nature of the job and sleep-in allowance is paid.

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children) or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)

A driving licence and access to a vehicle

Previous experience of working with: Children, and young people or have applicable life experience
