Executive Chef in a High-Volume Events Venue in London

Salary: £65,000

Location: London

Predominantly Monday to Friday

We are looking for a highly talented Executive Chef to head up this high-volume event venue.

We are looking for someone to help cultivate our menus and bring their artistic flair and culinary skill to the team.

We are looking for someone who has led kitchen teams within high volume, quality catering operations within events and/or stadia.

A resilient, creative and innovative chef, one where food is at the forefront of what you do, and this filters down through your team.

You will have a fantastic eye for detail and be up to date with food trends.

About the role:

• A variety of different functions predominantly Monday to Friday catering for between 100 – 1500.
• Client facing, to talk through menu options with the client accompanied by tastings.
• To develop the menu and create new and exciting dishes.
• Stock control, ordering and wastage management.
• Full P&L accountability.
• Purchasing and menu costing.
• Running the day-to-day kitchen operation.
• Scheduling and labour cost control.
• Fantastic employee benefits.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience catering for events preferred.
• Can – do and enthusiastic attitude.
• Craft trained.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Well organised.
• Hard working.
