CSCS plasterer

Our client has an exciting contract in a local hospital for a refurb project, they require an experienced plasterer to join their team to complete some patching and full wall plastering within one phase of the project.

Duties:

- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specific ratios and consistency requirements
- Use hand tools and equipment such as trowels, brushes, and spray guns to apply plaster
- Repair and patch damaged or cracked plaster surfaces
- Ensure proper adhesion and curing of plaster by monitoring drying times and humidity levels
- Clean work area and dispose of waste materials properly

Experience:

- Valid CSCS qualification
- Previous experience as a plasterer or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of plaster materials and their applications
- Familiarity with various plastering techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time.

Pay: £20-25 per hour depending on experience
