Band 6 Physiotherapist - Barnsley

The Physiotherapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Physiotherapist in Barnsley.

The successful Physiotherapist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to cover a paediatric caseload.

Previous NHS working experience is essential for this role.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 3 months contract
Essential skills:

- Enhanced DBS
- Full UK license and access to own car
- Acute medical care/ care for the elderly
- Mobility assessments on inpatient medical ward
- Support agencies i.e.

Rehabilitation, discharge to access, social discharge
- May not be based in one area / adaptable.
- Degree in Physiotherapy or relevant post qualification
- HCPC registration
- Provide professional therapeutic advice to relevant Trust committees, other health care professionals and patients regarding safe, appropriate and cost effective therapy.

- Identify, and ensure the operation of quality control mechanisms which meet formal National Guidelines and National Service Frameworks.
- Providing a specialist respiratory service to the wards, department settings and specialist units a day time bleep service is provided to all other areas of the hospital including A and E, x ray and general outpatients.
