Commercial Heating Engineer

The Client:

Our client, a reputable Building Services provider, is recognised for their dedication to Quality, Value, Collaboration, and Partnership.

They manage diverse Building Services Engineering Projects in the public and private sectors, serving as either the Principal Contractor or subcontractor.

The Role:

They are seeking dynamic HVAC engineers to install mechanical service systems, encompassing commercial heating installations, boiler replacements, and domestic water plumbing installations.

Openings are accessible for Craftspersons, Senior Craftspersons, and Team Leaders with relevant industry expertise.

Duties:



* Install domestic or industrial/commercial pipework and associated systems.


* Interpret job specifications from drawings or customer directives.


* Coordinate with other trades, suppliers, and clients as necessary.


* Demonstrate autonomy and troubleshoot issues within the projects scope.


* Ensure adherence to applicable standards.


* Develop and supervise installation and commissioning schedules.


* Perform system commissioning and testing.


Requirements:



* Completed an apprenticeship and possess at least 2 years of hands-on field experience.


* Strong knowledge of various mechanical services and heating systems.


* Detailed understanding of a systems operating principles, especially for Craftsperson roles.


* Willingness to undertake paid Continual Professional Development to enhance skills.


* Good IT skills.


* A valid driving licence.


* Successful completion of CRB Clearance.
