Deputy Nursery Manager - Maternity Cover

Location: Harrow, Greater London

Salary: Up to £35,300 + Excellent Benefits

Full Time, 8:00 - 18:00, 40 hours, 50 weeks per year

The Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to lead and inspire their team.

This role involves nurturing a team, setting high childcare standards, and supporting the day-to-day nursery operations.

Responsibilities:



* Lead by example, fostering a nurturing and respectful atmosphere.


* Provide guidance and support, including 16 hours per week coaching and mentoring.


* Maintain high standards of care and education, ensuring policy adherence.


* Foster strong parent partnerships.


* Oversee day-to-day operations and safeguarding.


* Assume full responsibility in the absence of the Nursery Manager.


Requirements:



* Previous experience working as a Deputy Manager, Nursery Manager or in a similar role.


* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.


* Previous relevant supervisory experience.


* Proficiency in the EYFS and OFSTED standards.


* NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or above qualification.


* Understanding of equal opportunities and SENCO.
