Domiciliary Registered Manager/Residential Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Domiciliary Registered Manager/Residential Manager based in the Walsall, West Midlands area to demonstrate a track record of growing a domiciliary care business and driving standards to achieve a CQC overall rating of Outstanding.

This is a unique service which provides bespoke person-centered support and services ranging from simple support to more complex care and support

As the Manager your key responsibilities include:



  • Be responsible for the safe, effective, responsive and well-led operation of the service, taking full ownership and accountability for all aspects of the service provision

  • Maintain a high level of occupancy whilst ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred support is provided throughout

  • Ensure all regulatory, contractual and company standards are met and where possible, exceeded

  • Ensure the team assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans involving other relevant agencies as appropriate

  • Lead on infection control, health and safety and other relevant procedures

  • Be a contributory member of the company governance implementing changes and improvements to the whole service

  • Recommend changes and improvements for the service and the wider West Midlands

  • Adopt a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging, promotional and relationship building role with CCGs, Local Authorities, families and all other stakeholders



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • A knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred services

  • At least 2 years' experience with a similar resident group

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, families, staff, and stakeholders

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

  • At least 2 years operational and leadership experience



The successful Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Days.
