Due to an increase in business and growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with experience selling into the Electrical Industry.

The successful candidate would be responsible for growing and developing the Midlands region and will report to the National Sales Manager.

The Company
A leading manufacturer of wiring accessories & switchgear that specialises in the domestic, commercial, retail & industrial sectors throughout the UK. 

Current locations could include: East Midlands/West Midlands - Birmingham, Leicestershire or Northamptonshire.

The Role of Technical Sales Engineer: 

- Develop new business whilst growing the existing electrical contractor base
- Influence & develop the consulting/specifier customer base
- Client meetings to present products
- Maintain and develop relationships within the electrical distributor network

Minimum Skills / Experience Required for Technical Sales Engineer: 

- Experience working and or selling in the Electrical Industry (Essential)
- Proven track record of new business sales and account growth within their designated region/area (Essential)
- Ability to work on their own as this is a remote, work-from-home role
- Confident in speaking to people and will have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of selling a Technical Product
- Full clean UK driving licence

The Package: 

- Salary up to £44,400k per annum
- Uncapped commission structure with realistic OTE £50k+
- Company Car (EV, Hybrid or Fueled depending on availability and preference)
