Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team

Charles Hunter Associates are looking for an Adult Social Worker to join a Learning Disabilities Team based within Tower Hamlets.

The social worker will be offered to work from home and in the office on a hybrid basis, the social worker will be expected in for emergency visits.

The Social Worker will be working with clients that have Learning Difficulties and Autism.

Your responsibilities as an Adult Social Worker

• Implement care plans and care packages


• Carry out Care Act 2014 assessments


• Carry out MCA assessments


• Undertake Section 42 enquires


• Carry out the best level of care and services for the benefit of the service user


• Working with other practitioners for the benefit of the service user


• Working with vulnerable adults that may have Learning Difficulties, Mental Health and Older People

Requirements of a Social Worker

• Current registration with Social Work England


• 2 years post qualifying UK experience


• Qualified Social Worker BA/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent
