Data Analyst, GIS Specialist, Spatial Analyst, Cadcorp, Contract, Remote

We are currently looking for a Data and Spatial Analyst to join our client on a remote basis with some travel to Essex required.

- ·       Contract Length: 3 Months
- ·       Start: ASAP
- ·       Hourly Rate: £20 - £22
- ·       IR35: Inside IR35

As the Data/Spatial Analyst you will be working with the client to aid in the collection, extraction, manipulation and presentation of data, supporting the development of systems and processes and promoting the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) as a tool.

To provide a comprehensive Geographical Information System (GIS) related support services, over a whole range of tasks and a variety of work projects.



This may include the identification and collection of spatial data and integration of GIS and development of Council wide uses of spatial and address data.

Key Tasks:

- To develop and support application of geographic information-based monitoring systems
- Support the review of the current GIS product (Cadcorp)
- To create and maintain geospatial map layers to assist with business requirements and functions.
- Document the data architecture and environment in order to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture.
- Create, develop and maintain corporate datasets including checking data within key customer facing ICT systems to ensure compliance with agreed standards.

Experience we are looking for:

- Experience in GIS ideally Cadcorp
- Good computer literacy skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of Local Land & Property Gazetteer (LLPG)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships.
