Manufacturing Operator

MANUFACTURING OPERATOR - PERMANENT - HERTFORDSHIRE

A leading pharmaceutical organisation in Hertfordshire are looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join their Production Operations team on a permanent basis.



The purpose of this role is to ensure safe and consistent running of the manufacturing equipment and systems on site to ensure the quality of the products manufactured and released to customers; you will be responsible for setting up and operating the equipment as well as carrying out fault finding and minor repairs.

Other responsibilities of the role include:

• Dismantling and cleaning of equipment to ensure ongoing reliability and maintenance


• Participating in investigations and CAPA's (corrective and preventative actions)


• Carry out in-process testing


• Write, review and update manufacturing documentation


• Training of other staff members on systems and procedures


• Participate in the installation, qualification and validation of new equipment


• Promote GMP compliance at all times

Suitable candidates will have experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical industry within a Manufacturing/ Production focused role with experience in safely operating and setting up production and packaging machinery.
