Role Responsibilities



Responsibilities will include:



  • Creating and delivering strategic plans

  • Strategic and practical leadership of the engineering teams (20+ people)

  • Developing and driving delivery of the product roadmap

  • Developing and instilling engineering culture and accountability for delivery across the department

  • Overseeing the departmental budget as well as all development operations tools and services



Person Specification



Essential skills will include:



  • Demonstrable leadership skills with experience of building and leading a software development function (around 20 fte) for a product business

  • A passion for developing your people and teams

  • A focus on creating a strong product delivery culture of collaboration, empowerment and positive customer outcomes

  • Experience of building a complex, Business-to-Business (B2B)Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product

  • Experience of managing diverse and disparate remote teams.
