Our engineers specialise in Fire & Security, Commercial Gas, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical covering the Retail Sector .

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible maintaining, and repairing Fire and Security systems in a well known supermarket chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repairs of fire alarms and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related equipment.


• Security equipment in store such as electronic tag alarms, automated pedestrian gates and PA systems ( training provided )


• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines during installation.


• Inspections, and testing of fire and security systems to ensure optimal performance.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.


• Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations for customised solutions.


• Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.


• Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.


• Generate reports, documentation, and system diagrams as required.


• Respond to emergency service calls and address critical issues promptly.


• Coordinate with emergency services, when necessary, to ensure client safety.

Desirable but not required Qualifications

• FIA Qualified


• Electrical qualification


• BAFE qualified


• BS 5839- Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings


• Any other relevant industry qualifications
