The purpose of the role is to be the Site Electrical Duty Holder with responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the site electrical infrastructure and optimising the performance of the site electricity import and distribution system

Responsibilities of the Senior Authorised Person:

• As the Senior Authorised Person, you will be responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering projects.


• Providing technical expertise to the project team.


• Developing conceptual designs.


• Working with 3rd party design subcontractors.


• Selection for procurement of electrical equipment to suit hazardous classification and more.


• Responsible for HV/LV distribution working with site Electrical Engineer.

To be successful as the Senior Authorised Person you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent within Electrical Engineering or related.

Ideally the successful candidate will hold the SAP accreditation that allows them to be responsible for the safety of themselves and others in HV areas.
