Administrative Officer - Security Vetting
Contract: Minimum 6 months
Organisation/Branch: Metropolitan Police Service, Referencing and Vetting
Location: Marlowe House, Sidcup, Kent, DA15
Reports to: Senior Vetting Officer, Band D
Vetting Level: NPPV3/SC


Position Overview:
At the Metropolitan Police Service, we are dedicated to safeguarding the people and infrastructure of London through effective security vetting.

We are seeking candidates to join our vetting unit at Marlowe House, Sidcup, Kent, on a minimum 6-month contract.

In this role, you will conduct vetting checks within the guidance set by the College of Policing Authorised Professional Practice (APP).


The vetting unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain, update, and vet documents/files to ensure the system's accuracy.

  • Prioritize your work according to the targets set within the unit.
