My Client is a large FMCG (Fast Moving Consumable Goods) company that is now looking for a hands on Engineering Team Leader with a "can do" attitude.


 
My Client is seeking a Team Leader, experienced in hands-on factory maintenance.

 The main purpose of the Engineering Team Leader role is to ensure that engineering support to the site operation is effectively utilised at all times.

This includes maintaining ensuring adequate cover of personnel exists across the working week and that all plant/machinery are in effective working order as well as maintaining the site electrical standards according to current legislation
This would suit an individual with experience working within a FMCG , experienced with electrical and mechanical maintenance.


 
Engineering Team Leader duties:
 
- Hands-on re-active and pro-active factory maintenance
 
- Order placement and replenishment within the stores area, via the SAP system
 
- Deputising for the Engineering Manager
 
- Ensure adequate cover of personnel across the working week
 
- All plant/machinery in effective working order
 
- Maintain site electrical standards
 
- Monitor performance and training
 
- Compliance with Health and Safety procedures
 
 
Engineering Team Leader Skills & Experience and skills required:
 
·Experience in a FMCG environment
 
·Relevant Engineering Qualifications
 
·Food related hygiene course beneficial
 
·City & Guild's 236 parts 1,2 & 3
·17th / 18th Edition
