SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA

Our client is a small, dynamic UK registered Charity, located in STANWELL MOOR (Heathrow Airport).

This social care teachig assistant role will be working to improve the lives of 16-25-year-olds with SEN, through horticulture, catering and functional skills programmes.

This will be working within a classroom setting, and assiting children with complex needs, sometimes on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.

Requirements as a SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA

• Previous experience working within an SEN school / SEN children.


• Experience within children's social care.


• Car driver and can travel to STANWELL MOOR


• Enhanced Children and Adult DBS on the update service.


• Supportive and positive attitude.


• Ability to change lives of vulnerable people.

Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA

• Promote positive and supportive behaviour.


• Assist the tutor with day-to-day planning in the classroom.


• Communicating with learners with varying degrees of speech and language difficulties.


• Working sometimes on 1:1 or 2:1 basis with learners with complex needs.

Salary £72.94 PAYE - £109.74 Umbrella per day.
