Job Title: Events Sales Manager

Salary: €3,600 – 4,000 + up to 25% bonus

Location: Berlin, Germany

This fantastic luxurious hotel brand is looking for a  Sales Manager to lead the event sales team! They belong to one of the most well-known and renowned hospitality brands out there.  For this role, you will be focusing on 4 of their magnificent properties in Berlin reaching +700 rooms in total.

Responsibilities:

• Coach the team and motivate them to reach targets (12-15 people)
• Leading the events sales for 4 properties in Berlin
• In contact with clients and actively selling the spaces available
• Sending out invoices and following up
• Preparation of offers for big accounts, implementation of rate negotiations
• Dealing with large even sales groups
• Participation in national trade fairs and congresses
• Encouragement of active new customer acquisition and cross-selling as well as support for existing customers in the assigned sales areas and segments
• Creation of promotions

You bring:

• Degree or diploma in hotel or hospitality management
• Experience in Convention or Events Sales is a must
• Passion for events
• Knowledge of Opera
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Customer focused
• Good understanding of numbers
• Strong time management
• Fluent in English.
  
  German is highly desirable.
  
  Some communication skills will be needed
