My Salisbury based client is a leading provider of data loggers, digital panel instruments and custom design & manufacturing solutions.

Their extensive range of panel instruments and voltmeters provide display solutions for a wide range of applications within the instrumentation and sensors industries.

My client also offers a comprehensive custom design and manufacture service

The ideal candidate will have a strong background with selling a physical product.

Anyone with experience of selling electronic products is desirable but not essential.

They are looking for a driven and passionate individual, who holds professional experience of developing new business with current, new and lapsed clients.

My client is based in Salisbury and are look for an experienced Sales Engineer.

They are happy with their sales team to work from home with the odd occasion of visiting the office.

You will need to attend the office site for the first couple of weeks for product training.

The ideal Sales Engineer will have a blend of the following skills and experience:

- Manage and grow the company's OEM sales.

- Help customers define their technical requirements.

- Carry out sales visits to prospective customers.

- Identify, contact and qualify new sales prospects.

- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions

- Experience of business-to-business sales in a technical field.

- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work unsupervised.

- Technical electronics background.
