Senior Electrical Design Engineer

They are currently looking for a Senior Technical Design Engineer
 
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will come from a Design engineering background and have experience working in SME’s.


You will be responsible for conceptual design and flow down of work packages and successful product realisation.

You will be responsible for providing sound technical support and training to less Senior Design Engineers
 
  Key responsibilities as Senior Electrical Design Engineer:

- Preparing cost estimates for quotes
- Providing electrical design specifications for team members
- Liaise with customers and internal project engineers to clarify requirements and meet design specifications.
- Act as the lead technical engineer on projects, including creating design specifications for the team.
- Sign off manufacturing drawing packs.
- Design PCB’s when necessary
- Research and source items as required.
- Work closely with manufacturing to inform and answer queries during the assembly and test stages.
- Generate all relevant documentation and handbooks where necessary.

Experience as Senior Electrical Design Engineer:

- Experience with problem solving.
- Formal engineering qualification in electrical design
- 5 years plus industry related experience
- Possess all requirements to successfully meet a formal Security Check
- Experience of analogue and digital interface circuits
- Experience with National Instruments hardware and software an advantage
- Power engineering an advantage.
- Capable of working on multiple projects at any one time
