Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced multi-skilled service engineer to install, commission, provide training on and service and repair a range of Laser Cutters/Engravers and CNC machine tools at customer's sites throughout the UK.

This Field Service Engineer position will involve staying away from home around 25-30% of the time, however, the successful candidate will need to be based within 1 hour of the Halifax facility in order to work from the factory when required.

For the Field Service Engineer position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

• Carrying out maintenance, overhaul and installation work on new and refurbished equipment.


• Travelling across the UK (and occasionally internationally) to customer sites to respond to planned maintenance as well as breakdowns


• Adhering to strict health & safety standards specific to customer's industry standards (Steel Processing, Power Generation etc.)


• Some degree of electrical fault-finding skills.


• Previous experience in as an Installation / Service Engineer and Trainer.

Working Hours of the Field Service Engineer:
37 Hours per week with flexible finish times on Friday

• 08:30 to 16:30 - Monday to Thursday - Friday usual early finish

In return, the Field Service Engineer will receive:

• Basic Salary: Up to £40,000.00 depending on experience and ability


• Company Vehicle (Van) with the option of using for personal mileage


• Holiday Entitlement: 30 Days including public holidays


• Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (3% employer / 5% employee)


• Company Sick Pay after 12 months' employment
