Marine Maintenance Mechanic Manager

Location: Key West, FL

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 DoE plus bonus

The Company:

Our client, a leading provider of resort services has a new job opportunity available! Their team is continuing to grow and we are excited to be assisting them in the search of a Maintenance Mechanic Manager.

This is a brand new position!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all the maintenance activities relating to vessel machinery, systems, and structure
• Schedule and perform routine inspections to identify and prevent issues occurring
• Manage and lead the maintenance team, ensuring all maintenance operations are completed in line with safety regulations
• Report and document all maintenance requests and action items
• Coordinate and work closely with external vendors as required
• Always comply with legislative regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry
• Marine background is a MUST
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Superb organisational and time-management skills
• Relevant degree is preferred
• Must be able to work in various work environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with vendors
