Brake Press Operator 

A new opportunity has opened up at company based in the Brighton area who are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator to join our growing team.

As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating machines that are used to bend and shape sheet metal.

You will work closely with other team members to ensure that parts are fabricated to the required specifications.

Responsibilities for Brake Press Operator 

- Operate a press brake to bend, form, punch, and cut metal in accordance with production drawing
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of the press brake machine
- Check components to ensure they meet specifications
- Organise and store components and tools
- Maintain a safe working environment

Essential criteria for Brake Press Operator 

- Must have experience operating a press brake machine
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Additional information for Brake Press Operator 

- Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4pm 
- Overtime available at 1.5x 
- Full time/PAYE
