Our client, who are a globally recognised engineering consultancy, is seeking a Contract Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee structural analysis and design activities for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.


• Take a leadership role in managing and delivering complex engineering projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.


• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the duration of the project.


• Conduct thorough reviews of design calculations, drawings, and specifications to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to relevant codes.


• Work closely with architects, fellow engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated and innovative structural solutions.

Qualifications

• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).


• Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution.


• Experience working with steel and concrete structures essential.


• Have experience with a variety of projects including: residential, commercial, refurbishment, leisure and industrial.


• Proficient in structural analysis software e.g., Tekla Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, Revit.


• Strong knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
