Sous Chef – Michelin Star Restaurant Group

Location: Coral Gables, FL

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 DOE + Bonus + Medical + Dental + 401K + much more!!

Do you want to work with a world leader in the culinary profession? I am working with a world-renowned restaurant group who pride themselves on service and cuisine.

They are seeking a talented Sous Chef to work with an amazing team of professionals.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of the restaurant’s Back of House operations
• Ensure high quality, palatable and well-presented foods are served
• Support the development and preparation of seasonal menus
• Motivate and inspire a strong culinary team.
  
  Ensuring team members is fully supported and equipped to do their job
• Manage inventory and order food / supplies
• Meet or exceed all financial targets
• Ensure that the kitchen is staffed appropriately, the kitchen is clean and equipment is working properly

Key Qualities:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a comparable role, preferably from a Michelin restaurant
• Flexible schedule
• Passionate leader with a positive attitude
• Understanding of food and labor costs, ordering inventory, and product quality
• Excellent leadership and time management skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent is preferred
