The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, providing comprehensive solutions in accounts, audit & assurance, taxation, and private client services.

The Role:

As an Accounts & Audit Manager, you will directly report to practice partners while overseeing accounting, auditing, and taxation services.

Responsibilities:



* Manage a portfolio of clients, allocating work effectively among the team.


* Oversee and execute audit assignments from planning to completion.


* Supervise statutory accounts preparation, liaising with clients and Partners.


* Guide the outsourcing team through bookkeeping to statutory accounts production.


* Prepare financial statements adhering to accounting standards.


* Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.


* Assist in business tax computations and exhibit corporate tax awareness.


* Identify and implement efficient processes supporting client accounting needs.


Requirements:



* Previous experience working as an Account & Audit Manager or in a similar role.


* ACA / ACCA qualified with 3+ years of post-qualification practice-based experience.


* Skilled in accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, and corporate tax matters.


* Familiarity with IRIS accounting suite and mainstream bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).


* Proven expertise in enhancing client accounting through technology-driven solutions.
