Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in Torquay.

The site is a specialist residential service that provides high quality and personalised support to adults with complex needs including Epilepsy, Acquired Brain Injuries, Physical Disabilities and Mild Learning Disabilities.

Job Type: Support Worker


Contract: Adhoc and block booking


Pay Rate: From £13.50 - £18 LTD per hour


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide compassionate care to individuals with mental health conditions

  • Supporting patients and encouraging them to engage with others in their daily activities

  • Ensure patient records are accurate and up to date

  • Provide wide-ranging patient care within a broader team and implement treatment plans

  • Participate in training to enhance and develop your skills


Requirements



  • 6 months UK experience working as a Healthcare Assistant

  • Ability to work within a larger team

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Always showing an empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care
