HR Officer

This manufacturing company feeds into a variety of sectors some of them being commercial, education and housing etc.



Roles and Responsibilities as an HR Officer:



  • Dealing with a variety of ER Issues such as long-term sickness, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, attendance issues etc.

  • Implementing and developing performance management systems and new HR systems, whilst communicating this out to the wider business alongside the senior management team.

  • Understanding and interpreting HR Data/Analytics and creating reports.

  • Onsite Recruitment; writing job descriptions, finding suitable candidates, advertising the roles, and reviewing applicants.

  • Supporting Managers with Employment Relations and absence management cases ensuring they are in line with policy and legislation.

  • Assisting and developing a variety of campaigns e.g., employee welfare, recruitment, site updates etc



I would appreciate seeing CVs from people who:



  • Have worked/currently works in one of the following roles: HR Advisor, HR Officer, HR Specialist, People Advisor or People Officer etc.

  • Has worked within a manufacturing environment (desired but not essential)

  • Holds a CIPD Level 3, 5 or 7 in Human Resources

  • As a Human Resource Officer needs to be capable of working within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

  • Holds a UK Driving License, as the role will involve commuting to other manufacturing sites in the Yorkshire region.

  • Holiday Entitlement - 31 days holiday rising to 33 days after first year of service (inc bank holidays)
