Lead React Developer

Our client is a leading consultancy building innovative technology platforms several departments within their business.

This project is for a platform that will review and report the valuation of illiquid investment for asset classes including private equity, credit, and real estate investments.


We are currently looking for Lead React Developers to join their team on a full remote, freelance basis for 6 months contracts with extensions available.


Skills and Requirements:



  • Around 2 years of experience leading/ managing team

  • 5+ years experience with JavaScript/ React- latest (hooks, context api, refs)

  • JavaScript (with promises, async), TypeScript

  • HTML5, CSS3 (rem, em, CSS variables)

  • Sass, CSS preprocessors

  • Other libraries: Redux (with Thunk), React Router, Jest

  • Linting (ESLint, Prettier, stylelint)

  • Responsive apps, SPA

  • Bootstrap, Git

  • Competence in software development lifecycle

  • Being a team member in Agile projects

  • English: at least B2 level


Role and Responsibilities:



  • Lead and guide a team of React developers, providing technical expertise, mentorship, and support.

  • Drive the architecture, design, and development of React-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable React components and features.

  • Solve complex technical challenges and make architectural decisions to optimize performance and user experience.

  • Implement state management using tools like Redux or Context API, ensuring efficient data flow within the application.
