THE ROLE:

• As Head of HR for this growing business, you will take a lead role in formulating and delivering the HR strategy and policies across all aspects of the function from recruitment/retention to training/development and comp and bens.

• You will champion the company's values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour as well as being a visible, approachable, and highly effective presence within the business.

• We are looking for a real 'do-er', someone who can confidently action the strategy, prioritise multiple tasks within a busy workload, and provide true HR business partnership to all parts within the organisation.

• Leading a team comprising of a HR Manager & HR Officers.

THE PERSON:

• HR Management Experience within a Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment - DESIRABLE

• Able to lead the entire function and look at long-term & medium-term strategy.

• A HR Generalist - with the ability to adapt your style according to the situation.

• A proven ability to create and deliver an effective people strategy.

• Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner.

• A curious mindset, thinking innovatively and rationally to come up with creative solutions.

• Experience of managing a skilled team and making quick but rational decisions.

• Thorough and methodical attention to detail.

• The ability to accept and provide feedback, be challenged on your advice, and work well under pressure.

• Commitment to be an inspiring role model who encourages collaboration.

• Comfortable working effectively at pace at both strategic and operational levels.

• CIPD accreditation - DESIRABLE

• Able to commute to Warrington on a regular basis.
  
  With periodic travel to other parts of the UK when required.
