Quality Trainer

Trainer - Quality

To develop and deliver training for all positions.

Implement group training strategies, being an integral part of the Training Department.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and deliver Technical, EHS, and Compliance training

  • Develop, implement, and review training plans aligning with the company's strategy.

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to implement, review, and develop a comprehensive training plan.

  • Define training requirements with managers and Quality department to meet examination requirements.

  • Ensure training aligns with competence requirements and refresher schedules.

  • Schedule training with internal and external trainers, set up and/or conduct Web-Based Training.

  • Comply with company policies, including Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities.

  • Work with the Training Manager to manage the company's training budget effectively.

  • Develop, evaluate, and make recommendations on training material and methodology.

  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees as necessary.

  • Work with the Training Manager to develop and deliver an effective training system for the business.


Working Conditions:



  • Office-based environment

  • 38 hours per week

  • Required to hold nightshift sessions occasionally

  • Occasional travel to Germany and group locations for workshops or forums

  • Potential for hybrid working dependent on internal training schedule


Education and Qualifications:



  • Ideally degree qualified in engineering and/or a business function or experience in a similar role coupled with secondary education (A Levels) or BTECH/HNC (Desirable)

  • Recognised training qualification (preferred)


Experience and Knowledge:



  • Ideally have an aviation training background (EASA Part145) or health and safety training background

  • Good technical knowledge of MRO processes preferred

  • Ability to manage and work within a multidisciplinary team

  • Previous experience delivering training/presentations

  • Experience developing training materials, including eLearning resources

  • A track record of successfully developing positive, productive, and collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of partners

  • Excellent communication skills, able to work at all levels

  • Good organisational skills with strong planning and operational execution

  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach

  • Confident to deliver training
