Document Controller

POSITION: Document Controller


LOCATION: North Kildare


SALARY: Negotiable DOE


EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED DOCUMENT CONTROLLER TO JOIN A LARGE AND ESTABLISHED FAMILY OWNED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR


RESPONSIBILITies



  • Ensure company Document Control procedures are adhered too, ensuring documentation is approved and agreed prior to issue.

  • Ability to navigate around BIM and Autocad Programmes

  • Prepare electrical technical submittals.

  • Ensure that change control of revision status is recorded and easily traceable and identified.

  • Monitor and enforce accuracy and compliance with design approvals and comments on technical submittals.

  • Ensure all drawings / documentation is controlled and maintained in a methodical manner and issued within set timescales

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people, including directors, managers, design teams, supervisors, tradespersons.

  • Produce Electrical safety file on completion of each project

  • Asset Management using Hilti Software

  • Adhering and working in accordance with the company's Quality Health and Safety management system including all policies/procedures contained within.

  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by management.


REQUIREMENTS



  • 2 years experience in Document Control

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g.

    Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, etc.)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to problem-solve.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Committed to self-development.

  • Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.

  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily schedule is required.

  • Experience with electrical contractors preferred.
