The Role

My client is an industry leader in the Injection Moulding sector, supplying into the Automotive & Aerospace sectors.

They are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team, who can put their expertise into practice on their top of the range machinery.

Main Responsibilities

• Repair & modify injection moulding tooling.
• Prepare new injection moulding tooling for production.
• Provide technical support on all tooling matters.
• Communicate with production & maintenance departments, ensuring all areas are up to date and aware of arising issues.
• Operate EDM machinery.
• Operate CNC Milling machines.
• Operate CNC Turning machines.
• Operate grinding machines.

Toolmaker

The Candidate

• Must have CNC programming experience.
• Must have EDM wire and spark erosion experience.
• Must have worked in a toolmaking position.
• Proficient in using CNC Milling and CNC Turning machines.
• Experienced with fitting, assembling mould tools, including repairs.
