Job Description:


Are you an experienced Hydraulic Component Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a skilled individual to test, repair, and overhaul hydraulic components in accordance with manufacturer procedures while meeting customer requirements.

As a Hydraulic Component Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of hydraulic units.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Clean hydraulic units for visual inspection

  • Perform paint stripping of components when necessary

  • Conduct visual inspections and create route sheets as needed

  • Determine work scope based on condition and customer specifications

  • Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic components according to manuals

  • Conduct final functional testing before releasing components to service

  • Liaise with other departments to gather technical information

  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Communicate production issues to supervisors

  • Maintain awareness of build requirements and priorities

  • Keep working area clean and tidy to 5S standards

  • Record work activities in Practical Experience Record (PER) book


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Education: Minimum GCSE Level or equivalent

  • Ideally completed an Aircraft-related apprenticeship

  • Experience within an EASA/FAA approved organization preferred

  • Knowledge of hydraulic components and principles

  • Competent in basic hand and power tool usage

  • Familiarity with computer applications such as word processing and spreadsheets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions
