My client is a local county council who have exciting expansion plans to open children's homes in the county.

This is a highly exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking council.

The Registered Manager will manage a brand new, high spec children's home for young people aged 8-18 with trauma and subsequent behavioural challenges being looked after by the council.

The Registered Manager role is a permanent full time post paying £50,470 - £55,125 per annum, public sector pension scheme, overtime in Lieu offering.

To be considered for the Registered Children's Manager role, you must have:

  • Previous Ofsted Registered Children's Manager or Registered Manager experience or extensive Deputy Manager experience (min 3 years) in a children's home

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management

  • Strong knowledge of children's social care legislation, Ofsted, safeguarding

  • Positive personality who is child led in practice
