Synergi are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join a leading FMCG/Food company based in Wellingborough.

This is the chance to join a company who have invested into their site to bring in the latest technology and automation.

Based at their site in Wellingborough, the role will support the performance and efficiency of a site that operate on a 247 basis.

The shift pattern for this position will be days only Monday-Friday.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Continued development and improvements of procedures and systems


• Being proactive in your approach to maintenance tasks and monitoring, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and accurate


• Ensuring site standards are upheld with the ability to confidently manage contractor's and the associated paperwork

Person Specification:

• ONC/HNC or equivalent recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering


• Working knowledge of pneumatics


• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure


• Flexible and adaptable as no two days are ever the same


• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills


• Effective communicator at all levels


• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills


• Good IT skills including Word and Excel
