You will work closely with the Partners, reporting directly and work collaboratively with the finance team.  This really is a paramount time to join the company, with their exciting growth plans in the heart of London, my client have a great management style, flexibility, offering complete integrity and autonomy, who are passionate about helping small businesses.

Key responsibilities as the Accountant will include:

• Reporting into the Finance Partners

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients, from startup businesses to SME
• Knowledge of EIS, SEIS, R&D Tax Relief
• Reviewing management accounts
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Year-end accounts
• High level of Tax Consulting
• VAT returns - preparation and submission
• Corporation Tax & HMRC correspondence

Qualifications:

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an Accountancy Practice

Technical skills:

• Strong working knowledge with SAGE and Xero accounting system
• Advanced excel.
